Teen girls can be tricky to buy for; I have two of them and they really are chalk and cheese, so it is clear to me that no one solution suits all of them. The thing that they do have in common is that they are like magpies and are attracted to pretty, shiny things in beautiful wrapping.

My girls still badger me to do them a stocking each and apparently it is the best part of the Christmas presents but I am finding it gets more and more expensive as they get older, so you have to become creative and make sure your stocking is a realistic size!

e.l.f Make-up sets - From £6
My girls are going to be thrilled to receive these elf cosmetics (#ad) sets. The prices are so reasonable with the pack of three lip balms and 3 eyeshadow duos both selling for just £6 each at Boots, and the Haute chocolate eyes shadow set is £12. Extra good is that they are all included in the Boots 3 for 2 gifting deal. The colours look really pigmented and totally on-trend.

Personalised Notebook from Norma and Dorothy - £22
This is a really stunning notebook (#ad) that Miss E will love using as her artist's sketchpad as the pages are blank. It has a nice hardcover and is spiral-bound, so it is easy to use and firm to lean on. The personalisation is in real gold foil and makes the book unique and special. There are loads of gorgeous personalised gifts on Norma & Dorothy and they all come beautifully packaged.

Kara the Kitten Planter from Red Candy - £10
There are a whole selection of cute small planters on Red Candy, I'm going to get a succulent to go in this one and I know Miss M will love it in her newly redecorated bedroom.

Various Stocking fillers from Mad Beauty - from £1.95
Mad Beauty is a site that teen girls will love, there are loads of beauty products, lots of novelty items and cutesy stationery too. I choose a few bits to be stocking fillers for my girls. Miss E will adore the soda pop bath fizzers, in a real soda can (£5.99). I choose cream soda fragrance for her but there is also lemonade.

I also got the cute sloth lip balm for Miss E as she likes to collect them, these sell for £3.99. Then lastly I got a scented watermelon nail file for Miss M as she is always doing her nails (£1.95).

Love Leggings - from £14
If you haven't heard of Love Leggings yet, then where have you been hiding? Everyone I know seems to be raving about this brand, with their thick, quality fabric leggings that don't burst the seams after your first wear! They also have a no see-through guarantee and that sounds great to me, as both my girls live in leggings and I hate it when I can tell one is wearing green knickers, even though she has black leggings! The little LL monogram is super cute too and features on all the leggings.

I went for a pair of high waisted leggings (£15) for Miss M as she loves to be on-trend and likes crop tops. Then it was sports leggings (£28) for Miss E as they suit her sporty lifestyle.

Lava Lamp from Red Candy - £29
Miss E has been sent one of these stunning lava lamps (#ad) but I didn't want to set it up to get a photo as you have to melt the lava for the first time and I think she'd have fun doing that. They are available in silver/orange, white/blue and copper/black and each is beautiful. The lava lamp isn't only illuminating, it is also mesmerising and a great thing to watch when you need to chill out and focus on something simple.

I really liked the Red Candy site when I had a look around, as they have great variety and everything is colourful and vibrant, with their strapline being 'shut up biege!'. How fun is that?

ASDA personalised photo cushion - £26
I knew that my Miss E would really love this super soft cushion with all her favourite cuddlies on it, so here it is with her Alfie teddy, my parents dog Archie and our cat Puss Puss. I went for the XL cushion, which is 25" x 14.5" and retails at £26.00 with £4 postage (there is also a smaller size available too).

The cushion is really good quality, it is soft suede, plain beige on the back and printed on the front. There are loads of templates you can choose from for printing, to make it totally unique to your home and I found the process simple, and the delivery quick. I'll happily use ASDA photo again for personalised gifts and I see there is 10% of all personalised cushions until the end of this year too, which is a great deal!

Danilo Simpsons Desk Block 2020 Calendar - £9.99
I know that everyone has phones nowadays but there is still something very useful about a physical calendar reminding you of the date. This Simpsons desk calendar is also super fun for any fan, as it is full of trivia, quiz questions and jokes.

Neon Sheep Water Bottles - from £6
My girls love Neon Sheep, it is the first shop I get dragged into when we go shopping. They really do cater to the tween and teen market and they have great products. The girls love the variety of water bottles, the metallic double walled water bottle is £12 and the glitter one in the middle is a super bargain at just £6 currently.

Zimpli Chocolate Emoji Maker - £9.99
These (#ad) chocolate emoji maker sets are super easy to use and great fun for both younger kids and teens. These are something they can do alongside younger siblings or they are fun to do with their mates and they can be a little more grown up in their designs! You get enough Belgian chocolate to make two bars.

Haribo Polar Bear and Penguin Gift Boxes - around £2.00
These are super cheap and I think they look really cool. They'll certainly be a hit here as all my kids love (#ad) Haribo sweets. Choose from zingy polar bears or jelly penguins!

I hope you like my ideas of gifts to give to your teen girls without going broke!

Nordgreen Native Watch, from $185
But if you want to splash out then I can highly recommend Nordgreen watches. They have a beautiful selection of watches that would be a perfect 'forever' gift for an older teen, to show them how much you treasure them.

I love that you can choose silver, gold or rose gold for the fascia of the watch and then there is a very wide selection of straps, from leather to rubber, to mesh, to canvas and even vegan leather too. I've gone for the Native model, with navy blue leather strap and clock face, and silver casing. I think it is timeless and delete and perfect for a young girls wrist. All I now have to do is decide which one of my twins will get it!! lol
