With just 39 days to go until Christmas, I think it is prudent to start thinking about the gifts for those loved ones in your life. We all know someone who counts themselves as a foodie and the good news is that you don't have to spend hundreds on a superb meal experience for them, you can get them a present they'll love for a reasonable amount.

Check out my ideas below, I hope you'll find a good variety of fo things to suit people of all ages.

AnySharp Pro Knife Sharpener - £16.50

There is nothing worse than having blunt knives when you are preparing foods and it can get expensive to keep buying new knives but the AnySharp Pro knife sharpener is an excellent idea, as it will almost instantly sharpen any knife (including serrated ones). It is super safe as it has a strong suction cup at the bottom to ensure it stays in one place as you sharpen. It is also small and compact making it easy to store in even the most compact of kitchens. It comes in a variety of colours to suit your kitchen, or is tiny enough to store in a drawer and it has a 10-year warranty too.

Vaso Glass Straws - from £11.99

I've been really impressed with these premium glass straws from VASO. They are a reusable, sustainable and recyclable product (and packaging) that delivers a 100% pure taste as they are free from plastics, toxins, mineral oils and BPA. I was a little worried at first to use a glass straw but they feel very sturdy and I no longer worry.

We received a 4 pack of two 15cm and two 20cm straws, as well as a bamboo case for taking a straw out and about with you and of course the necessary brush cleaner to ensure the glass straw stays clean and hygenic.

VASO glass straws can be bought from Glassstraw.co.uk

LOGO - The Best of Food Game - £20.00

The original LOGO trivia game is always great fun but add a food element to it and it is totally right for my family. The LOGO Best of Food board game is all about food; fast food, home-cooked food, eating out, manners, ingredients and odd ones like food called after cities or places, or famous food named after people!  The game can be played with upwards of 2 players and is recommended for 12 years upwards.

You can buy it for {#ad} just £20 on Amazon at the moment, with free delivery too.

Curry Night Kit - £14.99

I love the look of this foodie gift, it is compact enough to send through the post without costing too much but it will still have an impact and be well received, I'm sure. You get 4 tins of curry blends - Korma, Bhuna, Goan and Tandori Masala and a booklet with 8 quick curry recipes. There is enough to make at least 8 family meals.

There are also vegan and festive variety packs at the moment, but the one I like best is £19.99 and has a 150-page recipe book with the 4 tins and I think that is great value.

iON8 One-Touch Water Bottle - £9.99

We already have some of these iON one-touch leakproof water bottles and I love them. They have been a game-changer for our family and we are all drinking more water as a result. They may not be the cheapest bottle but they last well and are leakproof when chucked in your bag.  You can get them in 320ml, 400ml, 500ml, 600ml, 750ml, 1000ml sizes in various colours and finishes.  This one is for my husband to take to work to help him remember to stay hydrated when he is sat at his desk.

Buy the 600ml version on Amazon (#ad)

ASDA Photo - Glass Chopping Board - £24.00

I've been a user of a glass chopping board for well over a decade now, as I find them to be the easiest to clean and stay sterile.  I'm really pleased that now I can also have a great looking chopping board to enjoy as I prepare tasty meals. I opted to use a photo that I took back in May this year of the Seven Sisters Cliffs, as this is a place that I adore and brings happy memories to mind. You can opt for one large photo like I have or a number of smaller photos collected together on the board.  The size of the chopping board is 39cm x 28.5cm and it is heatproof, with anti-slip rubber feet.

ASDA photo has some great personalised photo gifts so it is worth a look. For food lovers, there are tea towels, aprons and placemats and for everyone else, there is so much more to explore with cushions, blankets, wall hangings and calendars.

Sobersauce Craft Beer Discovery Box - £19.99, including delivery

This is such a great gift for someone who is staying away from alcohol this Christmas. They can still enjoy a tasty drink and 'fit in' with the other drinkers but keep a clear head and be able to drive if they need to. It's a good way to find some new alcohol-free favourites, with the selection including lager, IPA and medium-bodied ales. All the beers have been hand-selected by the company founder Adam, who himself wanted a great tasting beer without the alcohol. I don't think anyone would be disappointed with this super gift.

Buy from Sobersauce.

Dairy Diary - £8.85

When I was a child my Dad was a milkman and I used to go and help him on his round sometimes, it is because of this that the Dairy Diary brings back such fond memories. I recall the collection of them my mum had in the kitchen, as they weren't just a years diary, but a collection of fabulous recipes too.

This year's diary is no different, with a great new recipe each week and they are all tried and tested so you can be sure they'll work out well if you just follow the instructions. Ther is everything you'd expect from a great dairy like space to plan, prepare, write notes and even date stickers to customise your diary.

You can buy your (#ad) Dairy Diary from Amazon.

Haribo Sweet Medley - From £4

This sweet medley from Haribo is perfect for a games night for all the family to enjoy together. You can empty out the variety of Haribo sweets into the tray and everyone can tuck in and enjoy themselves. You get 480g of sweets and some (Giant strawbs and jellybeans) are vegetarian too.

Pick up a box at your local supermarket or somewhere like Wilko for £4 or you can find a really wide selection of (#ad) Haribo treats on Amazon.

I hope you found something that you like in this Christmas gift guide. Happy shopping friends!
