A Week of Reasons to be Cheerful

Home sweet home and the sun is shining!

It's time for our weekly dose of cheerfulness and I am feeling a lot more like myself than I did last week. Sadly my lovely aunt passed away, so I'll be heading to her funeral on Tuesday but I'm so thankful she is no longer in loads of pain.

Here's my week of cheer -

Thursday - I had a good session with the little boy I coach through the charity TLG. Then in the evening I headed to Tesco whilst my girls were at Guides and I got a new coat for the Spring. It is raspberry coloured and I love it.

Friday - We headed out for a meal for my friend Annie's birthday and the food was exquisite. I had a chicken breast stuffed with spiced lamb and spinach and coated in a mild curry sauce with pomegranate seeds, sultanas and sunflower seeds.

Saturday - I took JJ and Miss M to visit my parents and brother and my husband took Miss E to visit his parents. We both had a good day and celebrated Mothers Day a day early.

Sunday - I enjoyed my Mothers Day with my family. JJ headed off to work in the tea room where we live and I had a chilled day before heading to the cinema with my husband and the girls. We saw Finding your feet and its a good movie. Look at my fab cards and gifts below.

Monday - Was a super busy day and I got loads done so it was good. Then in the evening I attended a meeting at my church about the local anti-trafficking hub in Hastings. It was a really compelling meeting and I hope I can get involved with a new project that will be starting.

Tuesday - Another busy day. I spent most of it doing my new paid job for the conference centre where I live.

Wednesday - I'm doing a volunteering course with the local Children's Centre at the moment and there is a great mix of women on the course. I'm looking forward to seeing how I can volunteer for them at the end of the course.

Then today, I'm on a bit of a high as I'm going away with my Mum tomorrow. We will meet in London and we have a hotel booked. We'll definitely take in a show, do a spot of shopping and enjoy some good food and conversation together.

Come and Join In!

I'd love to read your Reasons to be Cheerful and it is as easy as 1, 2, 3 to join in -

1. Link up a post about something that is making you super happy/ grateful. It can be in this style or it can be anything you like - a recipe, a tutorial, a from the heart, a list - it's your blog, you choose

2. Add the #R2BC badge onto your post or blog so that people can easily find the linky and join in too if they fancy

3.  Share the love. This is the really important bit. Please don't just link and run, comment on at least a couple of posts and why not share with #R2BC too?

I'll stop by all linked up posts to comment and I'll share on twitter too
