My twin girls have been trying out some Start-rite shoes ready for back to school in September. They have already worn them for the month of July at school and now the shoes are put away for the next couple of weeks until they start back to school. Both of their senior style brogues and loathers have done an ace job so far and I feel fully confident they are going to last them well into year next too.
As part of Start-rites back-to-school campaign they wanted us to really put the girls shoes through their paces, so they have been to school in them, walked through the woods, scooting on their new Micro Scooters in them and playing at the park too.
Just look at them having some park fun -
My girls have no thought to how they are treating their shoes when they are busy playing and as such I need to encourage them to choose tough shoes that are build to last and withstand all the normal beating that a 10 year old gives them. Luckily we've had Start-Rite shoes before and we know they are up to the challenge.
Like in everything my twins chose to go for different school shoes styles -
Miss M's Senior girls loather in leather/ patent mix retail at £52.99 for adult sizes 4.5 - 7 and are available in F and G fittings. They are also available for £49.99 in smaller child size 10 - to adult 4 and again in F and G fittings.
Miss E's Senior girls brogue are available in either matt black leather or patent black leather and retail for £54.99 for adult sizes 4.5 - 7 but they are available in fitting E, F and G, so are great for those with slimmer feet. Again there are smaller sizes available for £49.99 in child size 10 through to adult 4 with the same three width fittings. The leather laces are great, really durable and they don't fray at the ends like so many do.
With only a couple of weeks now until the kids all return to school I bet there are a number of you starting to panic about still needing to buy school shoes. Well don't fear as Start-rite could just be what you need. Check out their website and I notice that there is 30% off trainers and plimsolls at the moment when you buy them alongside a pair of shoes.
Why don't you pin this for later?
I'm linking this post up with Fiona at Coombe Mill for #CountryKids.
Disclosure: We received these two pairs of Start-rite shoes free of charge for the purpose of an honest review, I have not been instructed what to write and I remain honest.
