Quickfire Reasons to be Cheerful - Birthdays, Anniversaries and Holidays!

Good morning friends, how are you today?

All is good here, I am on countdown for the end of school and going away for a week to Poole/ Bournemouth from early Saturday morning. Hubby has to stay home and work but we'll have my parents and brother with us to keep us company.

In all it's been a good week and for this Reasons to be Cheerful post I'm going to do one of my quick-fire lists where I shout out about everything that is making me smile right now!

  1. The girls and dh went away to Cub camp last weekend and all three had a fabulous time
  2. JJ and I had some time with a friend of mine and we headed out for a meal and War of the Planet of the Apes (I'm still totally undecided on this film!)
  3. It was the girls birthday and we had a fun time bowling with them and out for dinner
  4. When the girls finish school tomorrow I'll be excited to reveal to them they are off to the theatre to see a Little Mix tribute act. We couldn't afford the real thing but I'm sure they'll still enjoy this.
  5. JJ has a list of jobs on his door that he has to do every day and it seems to be becoming second nature to him, without the nagging! yes!
  6. I have another appointment with the two Christian ladies mentioned last week and I feel so free, like we have dealt with so many issues.
  7. I've started to take Orlistat fat blocker tablets (don't worry, doctor prescribed) to help with my weight loss and so far they are acting as a wonderful reminder for me to behave food wise and make good choices.
  8. We had an amazing version of Masterchef a couple of days ago within the community that I live and it was so good to see people pulling together and creating some amazing dishes
  9. It's my wedding anniversary today - 15 years (but 23 together) and I hope we'll be going out and enjoying a meal tonight  - if a babysitter comes forward!
  10. I've got loads of jobs done this week and I am feeling organised to go on holiday
  11. People have been paying my invoices on time, yay!
  12. I'm coaching my little boy today, the last session before the summer but talking to his head last week she said she was pleased with his progress and she'd love me to keep seeing him next year
  13. Miss E made me a necklace, isn't it beautiful? and so well finished too!

See, all is good!

I hope things are good with you too and remember that even if there are some niggles it makes a difference when you choose to look on the bright side.
