If you have a toddler then I suspect you're going to have heard of the Singing Kettle and if not then they are missing out. The Singing Kettle is a wonderful kids act all based around funny and wholesome songs which encourage the children to join in and be musical. The small show started in Scotland back in the early 1980's and now it is one of the biggest box office hits in the UK.
The show retains its central idea that inside the kettle are clues of which fun song will be sung and performed but now there is also a full musical show extravaganza built around that idea and there is a tour of Scotland this summer from 1st August 2014 right through to 6th January 2015.
Cilla Fisher and Artie Trezise developed the concept originally and still produce, songwrite and direct the show with the current cast of Gary Coupland, Kevin Macleod and Anya Scott-Roberts. Take a look at them in action and see the fun for yourself -
How convenient if you live close enough to go see one of the shows from home but if you want to make a nice break away with the family then why not head to the Glasgow show on 30th August 2014 and discover what this beautiful city has to offer. It is cheap and convenient to fly into Glasgow airport nowadays and the Holiday Inn hotel there will look after you well.
This particular show at the Eastwood Theatre is just £11 a ticket and that is super reasonable in my opinion and your little ones will love the singalong show that is the Jungle Party. It is an action-packed and high energy show offering a unique Singing Kettle experience where you are urged to dress up as your favourite animal and join this non-stop, totally awesome festival of fun for girls and boys of all ages.
Glasgow is a city that is sure to delight as there is an abundance of places to visit and things to do for family fun. Why not enjoy the city centre treasure trail or science centre for cheap fun together?
Have you been to Glasgow before? Where would you recommend as a place to visit with kids?
